Contraindications

Please look over all of the contraindications before booking and giving the retainer. If any of these are true after the retainer is received, then the retainer will be forfeited. These contraindications are meant to protect the client from any severe and adverse effects due to previous/current complications and it is meant to protect Shyam Kambo from only serving to those that are not in severe health risks. Please always be absolutely truthful. The severe health risks should be taken care of first before Kambo is considered again. Shyam Kambo take the health of their clients very seriously and wants the best for each client. We would never want to put a client at risk or in danger of any kind and are thoroughly trained for the reason. If there is ever any questions please text them to the number provide at the bottom of this page and Shyam Kambo will get back to you within 2 business days usually. There are no bad questions and we do not judge in any way and we know how personal that we will be getting with our clients so we want them to know and feel that from the very beginning to the very end. 

  • Under 18

  • Currently menstruating (please wait and schedule when menstruation is complete. Women feel more comfortable taking Kambo outside of this window due to strength loss and already light-headedness and sometimes fainting. Kambo can cause heavy flow for 24 hours after treatment)

  • Heart conditions other than high blood pressure including but not limited to pacemaker, bypass surgery, enlarged heart, arrhythmia, heart valve disease, rheumatic heart disease, cardiomyopathy, coronary heart disease

  • History of stroke(s)

  • Medicated for low blood pressure and/or knowingly experience low blood pressure and choose not to take medication prescribed by a doctor

  • History of brain hemorrhage(s)

  • Experienced an aneurysm

  • Current blood clots

  • Have major issues with doing cardio exercise

  • Serious mental health conditions (You must inform us if you have ever or are currently suffering from a mental health condition, regardless of whether or not you are taking medication. The only exception to this is depression. In most cases it is usually completely safe for you to continue taking your normal medication and supplements but please discuss this beforehand)

  • History of serious mental health conditions such as Schizophrenia, Dissociative Identity Disorder, ect

  • Currently undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy (Requires a minimum of 10 weeks post-op or last therapy)

  • If you are Asthmatic, ensure that you have your inhaler with you

  • If you are Diabetic, it’s important to discuss your treatment in advance

  • Have Addison’s disease

  • Have had anorexia or bulimia within the past year

  • Have certain types of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome

  • Recovering from a major surgical procedure and/or internal stitches

  • Organ Transplant. Taking immune-suppressants after organ transplant

  • Taking immune suppressant medications

  • Current and severe epilepsy

  • Take Slimming, serotonin or sleeping supplements

  • Have currently or in the past had drug or alcohol addictions (talk to us about previous additions so that we can move forward correctly)

  • Are pregnant or may be pregnant – if you have been trying to conceive, a pregnancy test is recommended (post-delivery minimum of 8 weeks or currently breastfeeding a baby under 1 year of age)

  • Extended fasting (if you've fasted 7 days prior to your Kambo cleanse or any water-based detox 3 days prior to your Kambo cleanse) *example of water-based detox includes a consistent practice using colonics, enemas, and/or liver flushes

  • Have had Bufo Alvarius (toad) within the past 8 weeks (Bufo should be done after Kambo so that the Bufo medicine doesn’t get flushed out in anyway and stays in the system for as long as it needs to)
